Animal Aid: Sanctuary Dogs Need Immediate Rescue

70 dogs at a sanctuary in Odessa, Texas need to be placed in loving homes. They are currently at a sanctuary run by a wonderful man who is in the last stages of prostate cancer. If these dogs are not rescued soon, he will be unable to care for them; a local humane society will euthanize the dogs..

Most of the dogs are mid- to large-sized. All the dogs are friendly (none are agressive) with other dogs and humans; they are starved for human affection. All the dogs have been neutered and spayed, vaccinated, tested for heartworm and tick fever, and treated for ticks, fleas, and tapeworms. Many have had extensive dental work. All have been in the sanctuary for one to five years, so will require some socialization.

If you or anyone you know has the time, patience and space to love just one more dog, please contact Max Green at Max@idausa.org or leave a message at 415-388-9641, ext. 222; someone will get back to you right away!
